Jasmine Carter joined the Maryland Department of Assessments and Taxation in July 2019 shortly after graduating from law school. She currently serves as a Deputy Program Manager within the Charter Legal Division. Jasmine reviews corporation and other business entity documents for legal sufficiency pursuant to Maryland laws and regulations. She communicates on a daily basis with the general public, members of the bar, and other government agencies as to the proper procedures to be followed to obtain or maintain good standing with the State of Maryland or to accomplish a certain business transaction. Jasmine is a native of Maryland and enjoys assisting the community in which she was raised.
