Tim is a Certified Public Accountant and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNNER™ with over ten years of accounting, tax, and financial services experience. He earned a Bachelor's of Science in Accounting from Towson University as well as Master's of Science in Taxation from American University. Tim brings a well-rounded and extensive background of tax planning and compliance for local, regional & national businesses as well as individuals, trusts, non-profits, and estates. Tim enjoys the challenge of minimizing clients tax liabilities today while consulting and advising clients on long term tax, financial and cash flow strategies for the business and personal goals. An area of focus for Tim is the purchase and sale of private businesses. Before forming Bestgate Advisors, Tim spent nearly ten years at a regional CPA firm and has been involved in the accounting, strategic planning and sale of a family business. Tim is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, Maryland Association of CPAs. He is currently serving as a board member for the Delaplaine Visual Arts Educations Center.
