EVENT DESCRIPTION
This course is intended to review the Federal Tax Code (IRS) rules for deducting travel and entertainment expenses related to businesses, with a focus on new and changed requirements and limitations. The basic fundamentals are covered along with recommendations for complying with internal revenue service requirements. Creative strategies and traditional processes are compared and contrasted to maximize the use of travel and entertainment deductions. Possible changes with the sunset of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act will be discussed to allow for future planning.
