Gene studied accounting and business administration at the University of Maryland's University College and minored in paralegal studies. Gene started doing tax and accounting work in 1983 and became an Enrolled Agent in 1993. In 1994 he opened his own firm, The Alliance LTD. Gene holds the following designations: EA, ABA, ATA, ATP, RFC. Gene is a memeber of the MSA, NAEA, NATP, IARFC and ACAT.
