EVENT DESCRIPTION
On Friday May 15, 2020, SBA released the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) forgiveness application and companion instructions. We anticipate additional guidance will be issued before the webinar date (May 28th).
A number of business have received funds from their banks through the PPP, which currently represents hundreds of billions of dollars of loans. Those businesses are looking to maximize their loan forgiveness. The CARES Act provides the basic guidelines and the Small Business Administration has provided some additional guidance on forgiveness. The new forgiveness application, instructions, and anticipated guidance (if released by May 28th) will be discussed.
