EVENT DESCRIPTION

This class will provide information on the following: Nexus issues for the surrounding states; Determining when sales tax should be charged and collected from customers in neighboring states; Issues related to non-compliance. Also Supreme Court addressed the South Dakota v. Wayfair, opening the door for states to require retailers located elsewhere to collect sales tax. How do we handle this issue in Maryland.

EVENT OBJECTIVE

Upon the completion of the seminar, the attendee will have a working understanding of the Nexus issues facing clients who offer their businesses in multiple states, as well as how to properly report their sales tax collected in each jurisdiction.
