Michael L. Kohler, EA obtained an Accounting degree from Stevenson University in 2002 and worked in the tax field for a Maryland regional accounting firm for 11 years. Mike earned the Enrolled Agent designation in 2015 and is currently a member of the professional staff of a CPA firm in Bel Air Maryland, which specializes in small business accounting and consulting. He also graduated with a science degree from Towson University in 1975 and is a retired water utility manager with over thirty-five years of experience in scientific, engineering, supervisory and management positions. Mike has previously served as a board member and treasurer of a non-profit nature and environmental education center in northern Harford County where he remains as a paddling instructor. Mike has been a member of MSATP since 2011 and currently serves on the Committee for Professional Regulation as MSATP’s representative to the Maryland Board of Individual Tax Preparers. He and his wife, Jan Marie, reside in Harford County. They have four children and five grandchildren.
