Bob graduated from Grove City College in 1980 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting and returned to Gettysburg to become the third generation of accountants in his family. In addition to CPA credentials, Bob became a Certified Financial Planner in early 2018. Bob merged with the Financial Consulate in 2015 with offices located in Hunt Valley, MD and Gettysburg, PA. The tax season of the Corona Virus is Bob’s 40th, and it will be unforgettable. Bob still enjoys preparing tax returns for his clients but also enjoys the comprehensive planning opportunities as well. Bob is married to Paula, who retired in 2019 after 39 years in the Registrar’s office at Gettysburg College. This timing was perfect as her niece had her second child so she has been babysitting quite a bit. This is preparing her for helping with our first grandchild, a boy, expected in May of 2020. Our oldest daughter, MacKenzie, the mother to be lives in nearby York, PA with the father to be, Robbie. Our youngest, Camden, is a Division 2 Assistant Basketball coach in Tennessee, and was a star player in high school and college. In addition to following Camden’s team, he also plays bass drum in the Hanover Lancers Alumni Drum and Bugle Corps.
